Prototype arcade style game designed to test the limits of our low-code development environment, modeled after the classic Space Invaders game.

My Role

  • Led all aspects of development from conception to deployment
  • Designed the game UI and UX
  • Designed simple swipe and tap based interface to control the player character
  • Created an animation and collision detection system that handled multiple simultaneously moving objects, which had not previously been achieved in our system.
  • Collaborated with designer to skin with fun and engaging graphics
  • Extensive testing, iteration and refactoring to eliminate crashing, optimize performance, and ultimately produce a playable game that pushed the boundaries of our platform.
